Warner Brothers Discovery's (WBD) digital arm, Global Customer eXperience (GCX) org is a high-performing global team working at the dynamic intersection of Technology and Entertainment. In supporting our content creators in the digital space, we continuously leverage our technological capabilities to create immersive viewing experiences for our iconic brands - Discovery+ and HBO.

We are excited to be recruiting for a Software Development Engineer IV to join our Apple/iOS organization.

Your Role Accountabilities
• Deep understanding of product features and the roadmap to make the right technology decisions and enable the Apple organization for both streamlined growth and development.
• Define best practices and frameworks and ensure they are properly deployed across the Apple platform.
• Develop support for new media experiences in both iOS and tvOS applications.
• Develop and drive technical solutions that scale across a wide range of devices for the entire Apple ecosystem.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders and partner engineering teams to seamlessly blend WBD innovations into iOS.
• Mentor, coach, and enable growth with other engineers within the iOS organization.

Qualifications and Experience
• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• Significant experience with Swift and iOS/tvOS SDKs.
• Experience writing multi-threaded, asynchronous code.
• Experience in debugging and optimizing for device performance using instrumentation.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and innovations.
• Strong communication skills.
• Passion for quality and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate and work with development teams across multiple time zones and locations.
• Ability to focus both strategically and tactically to achieve business goals.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field
