Senior Finance Manager - Business Planning

The Job
Within our Consumer Product organisation, you would be a business partner to both Finance and Commercial stakeholders across EMEA and Burbank HQ; providing financial planning and strategic analysis through preparation of the annual strategic plan, budget, quarterly re-forecast cycles, monitoring operating results against plans. The manager will also be responsible for two direct reports.

The Daily
• LRP, Business Planning
• Develop financial models and scenarios to evaluate and sizing new opportunities to capture growth.
• Partner with Exec Director and Category teams to implement KPI framework to monitor planned results, understand and explain variances to plan.
• Partner with local territories to drive business planning processes, including licensee business reviews examining subcategory performance, market penetration, deal post mortem, and strategic alignment.
• Partner with territory and category teams to ensure business plans are be informed by trends & insights-industry, competition, consumer, retail, franchise, etc.-that impact category opportunities and include an assessment of resource and technology needs, organizational impact and ROI.
• Manage end to end the EMEA & APAC financial forecast process for revenues and costs, including supporting the CoE with the licensee and expense template process and facilitation of Regional Category to Territory alignment
• Review Cost Centre spending plans with EMEA Department heads.
• Full finance accountability of the agent market forecast and planning process including partnership with the regional lead and CoE
• Review the CoE prepared qtly consolidated management reports for discussion with EMEA Senior Management and that highlights operating performance versus plans, outlook for year, opportunities and risks, etc by Category, Territory, Franchise & Top Licensees. Also, P&L's & key expense lines.
• Develop and maintain Retail and category business highlights.
• Closely monitor and maintain summaries of category industry dynamics, competitive landscape and evaluate potential impact to current licensed partners and WBCP business.

• Responsible for leading virtual teams supporting business planning work managed by shared services/COE teams
• Serves as subject matter expert on GBE Technology Upgrade Program, including driving business process improvements and data related initiatives

The Essential
• 7+ years PQE in financial planning
• Retail/Consumer Goods/FMCG Industry experience preferred
• Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Advanced - Microsoft suite (essential: Excel and PowerPoint, beneficial: Access)
• Experience of SAP and BW reports preferred
• Strong communication and presentation skills - ability to present financial data to both finance and non-finance teams, at various levels, across the business
• Used to multitasking and ability to work well under time constraints in a fast-moving environment
• Ability to pay close attention to detail
• Ability to organize and schedule work effectively, remembering global time zones
• Pro active, ''can-do'' attitude, team player
• Major European language (French, German, Spanish or Italian) an advantage
