Production Assistant (Temporary)

The Job

The Production Assistant is an entry level position which will play a vital role in supporting the Bleacher Report Live Production Team.

This person must be an avid sports fan who keeps up with relevant storylines in the sports landscape.

This position requires someone who communicates well, and can prioritize their own tasks and is effective at managing up by anticipating needs.

Must be OK with irregular hours – nature of Live Sports coverage requires occasional nights/weekends.

CANDIDATES MAY BE LOCATED IN NY OR ATLANTA, GA

The Daily
• Provide production support for all BR live productions
• Ideate around topical storylines in sports to help determine content of livestreams
• Use photoshop to create thumbnails & other light-design work for Livestreams
• Edit video (Adobe Premiere) for highlight packages
• Spotlight the best comments/questions during Livestreams for Talent to react to
• Spotlight the best of Social Media to be integrated into Livestreams

The Essentials
• Strong contextual sports knowledge
• Fundamental Production skills
• Great attention to detail and creative mindset
• Strong communication skills -- calls, email, Slack
• Ability to work in high pressure, fast-paced production environment with quick turnarounds

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in New York City. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $43,811.00 - $81,363.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
