Position Summary

The Warner Bros. Discovery Global Product & Design team is looking for a Product Manager II, WBD Sports Product to support the existing product team and business with managing the execution of the digital products and platforms for WBD Sports, including Warner Bros. Discovery's new global video streaming service.

You will be help carry features through the full product lifecycle – ideation to production, supplementing with product requirement documents, market research, user stories, user testing, defining OKRs and KPIs, wireframes, flow diagrams, testing, risk analysis and other supporting information to make product iterations successful. You will learn what it means to be at the intersection between the business, customers and technology.

This role reports into the Senior Director, Product Management for the WBD Sports Product team and will work closely with product management, design, engineering, editorial, advertising and marketing teams to help define and deliver features and enhancements that will drive engagement and revenue for the suite of digital sports products.

Responsibilities

In addition to the responsibilities noted above:
• Help manage the product roadmap, getting internal consensus and incorporating feedback from a range of sources to ensure the right features are delivered at the right time.
• Ensure complex business needs are perfectly documented and reflected in product roadmaps and in the resulting products.
• Provide additional support for the requirements documentation process into JIRA and Confluence
• Research the market for inspiration and motivation to create competitive and compelling experiences using data from various sources.
• Maintain and improve the use of data for user experiences and features across the product and infrastructure.
• Help manage the digital platform lifecycles including user acceptance testing (UAT) processes, creating and communicating release notes, managing distribution of internal app testing, app update releases, app store images & descriptions, and app store dashboards overall.
• Contribute to the delivery of high-quality products as perceived by the end user, measured against satisfaction metrics.
• Work successfully within a milestone-driven environment, utilizing standardized product development processes.
• Contribute to on-time, on-budget delivery of products and features.
• Build healthy, trusting relationships and contribute to a culture of respect by giving feedback respectfully, exchanging ideas respectfully, and receiving feedback humbly.

Requirements
• Minimum 2-5 years of proven product management experience in a media technology company in the video streaming space, preferably in sports.
• Detailed knowledge of Agile development practices and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-impact features at scale.
• Experience of working in a start-up environment and across all stages of the product life-cycle.
• Experience of using analytical tools to monitor success of features and influence changes to the product.
• Preferred experience in dealing with building products, features and functionality against various sources of data.
• Have knowhow of User Experience and Usability and be able to apply it to the product.
• A passion for Sport and/or a good understanding of the media and sport industries.
• Experience working on streaming video products a plus.
• Experience working on products that span across web, mobile and TV/OTT/Connected Device platforms a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication. Able to write and present to non-digitally-savvy audiences.
• Curiosity and a willingness to learn.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $85,400.00 - $158,600.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
