Your New Role…

Accountable for ensuring payrolls are accurate and paid on time. There are a total of 19 payrolls ranging from 3 employees to 800 employees. With variable pay dates. Total around 3,500 employees paid monthly.

The Payroll Analyst is accountable to manage the payroll process from receiving data from various sources through to ensuring employees are paid, payslips delivered, and third-party payments are made.

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Manage and process UK monthly payroll(s), calculating, checking, and running audit reports
• Processing BACS payments for employees' net pay and 3rd party payments
• Ensure payroll system holds accurate payroll records
• Create, balance, and submit HMRC monthly RTI (furlough) uploads
• Prepare payroll monthly reconciliation and Cost Reports for the Finance Department(s)
• Work on Audits with external provider(s)
• Managing the Auto-Enrolment (AE) process and assisting with Pension enrolment, maintenance, and contribution upload
• Manage year end processes including P11d's and Form 42
• System updates, setting up new companies and amendments on Zellis payroll system, including knowledge End Year Updates (EYU), payslip reversals and reworks

Qualifications & Experience...
• Able to act as the (first) point of contact for the payroll(s)
• Experience of managing and processing high volume payrolls, including calculating, checking, and producing audit reports. Ensuring high level of accuracy throughout the process
• Ability to process BACS payments for employees' net pay and 3rd party payments
• Good time-management skills and the ability to work comfortably under pressure
• Managing the Auto-Enrolment (AE) process and assisting with Pension enrolment, maintenance, and contribution upload
• Manage year end processes including P11d's and Form 42
• Zellis (Northgate) payroll experience

• Ability to handle confidential information
• Experience of Auto Enrolment regulations
• Understanding Job Retention regulations
