The Job
The Manager, Talent & Performance will play a critical role in supporting the Talent & Performance team's strategic roadmap and aligning the team's efforts across the enterprise. This role requires a deep understanding of end-to-end talent management and performance management approaches. The Manager serves as a subject matter expert and will help the Director to drive behavioral and cultural change in the Talent & Performance space. The Manager will help the Director connect strategy and implementation across HR and across the enterprise, ensuring alignment and integration. This role will report to the Director, Talent & Performance and be located in New York with some travel.
The Daily
• In partnership with the Director of Talent & Performance, you will lead the overall enterprise performance management and talent process including the implementation of Workday
• Elevate our succession planning process through data collection and analysis to support top talent identification and development
• Act as a talent and performance integrator in key stakeholder areas like Learning & Development, Diversity/Equity/Inclusion, Total Rewards, Employee Experience, etc.
• Collaborate with business leaders, and People & Culture partners to understand talent management needs, provide guidance, and create buy-in for creative solutions
• Ensure business continuity by maintaining, evaluating, and designing solutions that effectively support the management of talent throughout the business
• Establish metrics and supporting processes that measure progress on talent priorities and overall succession plan health
• Deliver effective training on talent and performance process to leaders at every level of the organization
• Develop communications, tools, and resources like toolkits, guides, and job aides in support of end-to-end talent and performance
The Essentials
• Results-oriented with strong attention to detail, time and project management skills, and willingness to embrace agile approach to work
• The ability to develop and execute strategic and tactical talent and performance initiatives
• Clear communicator with the ability to influence others with excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to use data and people insights to drive effective processes
• Experience using organizational savvy to work collaboratively and cross-functionally to achieve company goals
• Ability to perform in a transformation-driven environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
The Nice To Haves:
• 4+ years of progressive talent and performance experience, preferred.
• Experience leveraging talent management technology to deliver talent and performance activities, specific experience with Workday is ideal
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in New York City. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $87,220.00 - $161,980.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
