Your New Role...

Warner Bros. Studio Operations (WBSO) is looking for a Manager for the Post Production Creative Services (''PPCS'') department. The position will be responsible for oversight of all finance, planning, and internal control functions. This includes: development and administration of capital and operating budgets; management reporting; ensuring the accuracy and completeness of departmental revenue and expense data; ensuring reconciliation and accurate reporting of balance sheet accounts; ensuring that appropriate financial procedures and control systems are in place and adhered to; supervising and developing staff; serving as departments' point person and representative in all matters related to staff training in new or changing systems and procedures; preparing, reviewing and submitting special analyses as requested by senior management; administering work order/job costing procedures; identifying and pursuing continuous improvement opportunities; and ensuring compliance with WBSO financial and administrative policies and procedures.

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Effectively manage direct reports to accomplish functional objectives, encourage teamwork, and motivate to exceed expectations
• Oversee finance and accounting functions for PPCS ensuring efficient operations and accurate financial transactions.
• Prepare and monitor annual operating and capital budgets. Provide strategic support to operating executives and WBSO senior management through timely analysis, identification of business risks, and useful recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and Company policies and procedures. Maintain adequate internal controls, including but not limited to safekeeping of Company assets, cash controls, adequate and timely approval of purchase and other transactions, etc.
• Participate in financial and operational system initiatives to achieve maximum benefits for Departments, WBSO, and Warner Bros. (as a whole).
• Perform special projects and ad hoc analyses as required. Identify and pursue continuous improvement opportunities driving improvements in customer service levels, process efficiencies, and increases in productivity without increasing headcount.

Qualifications & Experience...
• Minimum 4-6 years relevant work experience.
• US GAAP
• Experience in monthly, quarterly and annual close processes within a large public company.
• Experience in budgeting, general accounting, financial analysis, consolidations, supervision and management.
• Industry experience in entertainment/media, especially Post Production (strongly preferred).
• Experience in sales and use tax compliance
• Project Management and/or Business Modeling experience, a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration (required)
• CPA (preferred)
• MBA (preferred)
• Must be proficient with finance/accounting concepts
• Technical activities will include accessing the mainframe and SAP systems and utilizing various software packages to provide, retrieve, update and analyze financial data. Such software includes, but is not limited to:
• MS Excel (proficient in using advanced macros and pivot tables)
• MS Word
• MS Access
• SAP (required)
• Business Warehouse
• Xytech
• Various mainframe systems
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and strong interpersonal skills are essential
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong ability to motivate staff and encourage a team player mentality
• Ability to lead projects and bring them to a successful conclusion within given timeframes
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff, management and customers
• Ability to independently meet deadlines while understanding when to communicate updates, follow up, and seek guidance from management
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities professionally
• Genuine interest in dealing with team members who possess varying levels of financial expertise
• Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter and innovative thinker
• Commitment to ''get the job done''
• Able to handle a high volume of work within strict deadlines

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $87,220.00 - $161,980.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
