Manager, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (F/M/D)

Your New Role...

Location either Munich or London

The DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) Manager at WBD will be part of the Regional DEI Team and will be responsible for driving local activation of DEI efforts across WBD. The DEI Manager will report into the Regional DEI Lead and the individual will partner closely with the entire regional DEI team to manage delivery of activity for the team. They will partner closely with P&C colleagues, Business Units, other regional DEI Managers across regions and the Global DEI team.

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Lead project management services to the DEI team to activate regional projects
• Supervise the rollout of activity for the Diversity Calendar for the region to mark moments that matter for our people in region in collaboration with global efforts
• Own the relationship with Regional Comms peers to finalise regional DEI communications and planning/delivery of DEI events in regional locations (virtual and physical).
• Contribute to the creation of thought leadership and create a body of centralised resources for use across our workforce and creative efforts.
• Strategic adviser to WBD Employee Resource Groups (ERG)/Business Resource Groups (BRG) Regional chapters in line with DEI strategy and providing consultancy to align operational activity with DEI vision.
• Support the DBP (Diversity Business Partner) to carry out direction from the Creative Council/Global Creative DEI Team to advise/guide on inclusive content for regional productions, gaming and emerging platforms.
• Partnering with L&D and other departments to project manage and lead delivery of DEI related talent activity in partnership with DEI team and/or external facilitators. E.g. talent advancement, inclusive leadership, mentoring and more
• Manage Regional Budget to support DEI programs, events and budget governance for ERG/BRG communities.
• Research, design and build of internal and external DEI presentations across a range of DEI identity areas
• Identify and own opportunities to support external WBD DEI brand through completion of benchmarks, awards, sponsorships in partnership with Senior Manager.
• Partner with other areas of People and Culture/CSR and other teams on areas with cross interest.
• Lead on delivery of Global DEI Team activity as determined by the DEI Business Councils e.g. training programs/inclusive conversations

Qualifications & Experience...
• Experience of working in a DEI team across regions.
• Experience working with a variety of stakeholders at different seniority levels
• Experience managing projects from end to end.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to write engaging and informative content.
• Good accessible and inclusive communication skills and able to engage different audiences.
• Self-motivated, understands the importance of confidentiality, effective time and project management, flexible
• Ability to navigate a new team and build relationships across the organisation in a complex matrixed environment to influence change
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects with varying deadlines
• German speaker desired
