Job Description
Your New Role...

The Contract Management Specialist is responsible for the maintenance and reporting of key contract data used by the WBD procurement organization. This position plays an integral role in the Procurement process by assisting the business in navigating the established cross functional contract process and ensuring accurate, complete contract metadata capture in the contract system. The Procurement Contract Management Specialist will be an expert in the contracting process and its supporting systems. This role will require an ability to effectively collaborate with the members of the procurement team and the other teams involved in the contract process, e.g. Legal, Info Sec, etc.

Your Role Accountabilities...

Contract Metadata Maintenance & Compliance Tracking
• Enter/Review key contract metadata and documents in the procurement contract repository, assuring the quality and accuracy of the data entered
• Support contract compliance tracking activities
• Assist with the reporting and analysis of contract data in the Procurement contract repository

Contract Lifecycle Management Process & Tools Support
• Guide the business to initiate the contract process or to use another preferred buying channel (catalog, PO, Pcard) based on established guidelines
• Guide the business through the contract process: what forms to complete, how to engage with the 3rd party risk assessment groups, submitting new supplier requests, creating Pos
• Support the implementation of improvements/enhancements to the contract process and systems as needed

Qualifications & Experience…
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 1-3 years, preferably related to administrative or data management roles
• Experience in the legal field and/or managing contracts preferred
• Procurement experience a plus
• Works within identified procedures & policies and can provide instruction to others on the details of the procedures & policies
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and summarize legal documents with the ability to research and make the appropriate inquiries when needed
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and comfortable navigating within computer applications, able to learn new contract management systems at an advanced user level
• Results oriented with strong attention to accuracy and detail
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members across the organization
• Basic understanding of the procurement lifecycle
