Financial Analyst (W/M/D)

The Job
• To check and improve (accounting) data, to analyse the data and to create valuable reports for the rest of the organisation. In addition the Job typically includes a large variety of ad-hoc requests in various different areas of the finance department.

The Daily
• Creates and tracks budgets and forecasts
• Ensures timely and quality delivery of financial data to management team
• Works closely with the productions and monitors the costs of the projects as well as the performance of targets versus actuals
• Supports the development of existing controlling instruments and optimization of work processes
• Supports financial account in accordance with national (HGB) and international (USGAAP) guidelines
• Participates in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Ensures the correct handling of essential accounting processes as well as cost center accounting

The Essentials
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proven relevant work experience

The Nice to Have
• Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Strong MS Excel and SAP skills
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Independent worker and analytical thinker with ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve complex problems
• Financial Skills
• Team player/ strong communicator.
