Your New Role…

Monolith Productions is a fast growing, dynamic game development studio, developing highly innovative games based on Warner Bros.' most valuable franchises. The Finance Manager will provide financial leadership to support the high growth business and will serve as a key finance advisor to studio management providing insight and advice. The primary responsibilities will include production cost accounting, financial forecasting, planning and analysis, along with cost management of the studio operations.

Your Role Accountabilities…
• Manage the preparation, analysis, and reporting of production and studio overhead budgets. Partner with game producers, studio management, and Burbank Finance to help manage production budgets, develop early warnings of cost and time overruns, and actions to address overruns
• Implement best practices to drive cost efficiencies
• Help lead strategic planning process for the studio and participate in greenlight process
• Conduct the monthly and quarterly close process for the studio
• Supervise administrator/procurement specialist
• Work on special projects as required

Qualifications & Experience…
• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
• Experience in budgeting, general accounting, financial analysis
• Industry experience in entertainment/media/Gaming, a plus
• B.A. or B.S. degree required.
• C.P.A and/or MBA preferred.
• Must be proficient with finance/accounting concepts
• Technical activities will include accessing the mainframe and SAP systems and utilizing various software packages to provide, retrieve, update, and analyze financial data. Software includes, but is not limited to:
• MS Office Suite (proficient in using advanced macros and pivot tables)
• SAP/Business Warehouse
• Familiarity with Hyperion Essbase desired
• Adaptive
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and strong interpersonal skills are essential
• Ability to lead projects and bring them to a successful conclusion within given timeframes
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff, management, and customers
• Ability to independently meet deadlines while understanding when to communicate updates, follow up, and seek guidance from management
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities professionally
• Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter and innovative thinker
• Commitment to ''get the job done''
• Able to handle a high volume of work within strict deadlines

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $93,898.00 - $174,381.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
