Overview:

Manager, Content Strategy ID, Travel, TLC, OWN

The Role

Reporting to the VP, US Nets Content Strategy the Manager, Content FP&A for ID, Travel, TLC, OWN will be responsible for working with network counterparts in reporting and forecasting on investment, cash and content amortization

Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate and maintain high standards of accountability & prepare investment & expense forecasts for network meetings and month end reporting
• Build relationships with US Nets Content Leads, Content Strategy & Insights & Global Content; Provide regular updates & insights to help drive stronger return on content investment
• Prepare financial greenlight analysis for assigned networks & submit to VP
• Review all contracts and amendments for budget and rights information
• Work with VP, US Nets Content Strategy to evaluate financial impact of potential strategy/programming decisions
• Partner with Director, Content Strategy & Analytics in supplying accurate data for performance insights
• Review program starts & associated accounting adjustments as needed
• Work with VP Content Strategy & Director, Content Strategy & Analytics to develop budgets
• With the Content COE Analyst, reconcile actuals vs prior forecast/budget/prior year and provide variance explanations & maintain accuracy of database containing content metrics and ensure accurate reporting
• Support development of automated systems, tools, and processes to facilitate efficient and accurate analysis

Qualifications:
• At least 5-6 years' experience in FP&A
• Strong proficiency in excel and other data analysis techniques. Demonstrated experience in financial modelling
• Critical thinker and strong problem solver with excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to frame issues, articulate findings and present optimal solutions
• Proven ability to build confidence and trust with department members and external business partners
• Experience working accurately and efficiently with high volumes of data with quick turnaround times
• Motivated by challenging, high-energy environment
• Strong working knowledge of financial software packages and Microsoft Office suite
• Bachelors in Finance or Accounting required
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States

Preferred qualifications
• Solid understanding of SAP preferred
• FP&A experience in streaming or cable media business preferred
