The Job

Responsible for the overall quality control of productions. Lead the production of a range of television programs, including dramas and/or serial dramas. Together with the Production Executive, manages budgets, selects and hires production team.

The Daily
• Overall responsibility for conception, development and creation of television films
• Overall responsibility for strategy and pitching concepts and projects to broadcasters and/or streamers, securing development funding from them (and other sources of funding)
• Works closely with Head of Production and Production Executive for compliance with the approved budget
• Oversees the internal scripted development process of projects, including editorial process, development and execution of project as well as per parameters determined by the broadcaster/streamer.
• Overall responsibility for the content of the project, the completion and the postproduction up to the final acceptance by the broadcaster including settlement

The Essentials
• Proven track record of delivering (and selling) high quality scripted projects within the territory essential
• Proven track record of delivering (and selling) projects as co-productions
• Good relationships with broadcaster commissioning teams and the local creative production community essential
• Experience of managing scripted development and production slate and creative teams essential.
• Good working knowledge of talent, commissioning and development contracts an advantage
• Good English skills essential
• Good relationships with on screen talent and agents an advantage

The Nice To Have

Higher education (e.g. Theatre, Film and Television Studies)

Production experience, long term experience as producer preferred
