The Job

Responsible for management of end-to-end Global Card Program activities for the WBD GBS and offshore Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) operations. Duties to include daily management of GBS staff supporting process and frequent engagement with business unit stakeholders. This position works closely with GBS Procure to Pay (PTP) management team and BPO provider to drive operational results, process efficiencies, standardization, technology enhancements and improvement to key financial measures and metrics.

The ideal candidate for the position will have some experience remotely managing global teams and possess a strong understanding of global card program operations within the entertainment industry. Additionally, experience working in a shared services environment is required. Given the nature of the role, the ability to work independently while managing multiple stakeholders will be very important.

The Daily
• Plan, organize, and monitor the use of resources required to provide high quality and cost effective global card program service delivery. Define and manage appropriate key performance indicators and/or service level agreements to ensure delivery of effective, efficient and quality services as agreed with key stakeholders. Make recommendations and develop strategy on global card program operational process improvements and standardization to gain greater effectiveness. Monitor, track and redefine processes with a view to drive cost efficiencies. Responsible for the timeliness, completeness and accuracy of global card program deliverables including on-going coordination with BPO service provider. Ensure compliance with SOX controls and audit guidelines
• Communicate global card program strategy based on comprehensive understanding of the evolving operating model, ensuring alignment across the team. Focus on customer service and satisfaction, including regularly publishing performance dashboards and other metrics. Engage GBS leadership and key stakeholders to review results and collaborate to achieve objectives. Clearly communicate with external and internal stakeholders by leveraging interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Manage and develop staff into subject matter experts with a results orientation toward all internal and external customers. Leverage managerial and mentorship skills to effectively institute company changes with minimal disruption to ongoing run-state operations. Work with supervisor to set priorities for the department and be able to actively assist in all problem resolution matters.

The Essentials
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. accounting, finance); Master's degree in a related field (e.g. MBA) a plus
• Experience in project management and process improvement (e.g. Lean Process Improvement, Six Sigma, etc.); PMP a plus
• Approximately 8-10 years previous work experience in an accounting or finance environment required.
• Procure to Pay; Travel and Card Program experience preferred.
• International finance and entertainment industry experience highly preferred.

The Nice to Haves
• Media and high-volume transaction experience
• Experience in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience working in a SOX compliant environment
• Experience managing a Business Process Outsourcer (BPO) arrangement
• Experience with managing Service Level Agreement (SLA), Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and performance metrics to drive results
• Experience managing large teams across various locations
• Attention to detail and accuracy as well as strong organizational skills and results oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to assess and measure impact and prioritize tasks accordingly
• Proven ability to build confidence and trust with internal and external constituencies and provide excellent customer service
• Strong management, training, and development experience and skills
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to a culture of excellence, integrity, and accountability
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to proactively manage a variety of projects and timelines; demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and an ability to manage multiple assignments and deliverables
• Experience with Concur T&E and SAP accounting systems and implementation.
