Job Description
Your New Role...

The Director, Content Finance – Intercompany develops guardrails, standards, processes and procedures to ensure the effective and efficient licensing of content across networks and platforms. The role will partner with local finance teams to explain the budgetary impact of content licensing decisions and work to determine an optimal solution considering both creative and budgetary objectives. In partnership with the participations and residuals team, the Director will ensure a clarity of communication on content usage and support of audit compliance objectives with creative groups. Position is also responsible for partnering with accounting, tax, and audit groups to ensure intercompany content processes meet required regulatory standards and provide clarity needed for internal workstreams

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Partner with business unit finance leaders on complex content use cases
• Define process and procedures for use of content across platform.
• Review and ensure financial reporting on intercompany content sharing
• Determine metrics to measure the success of content sharing/cross promotional initiatives; ensure incorporation of projections in greenlight discussions
• Understand and communicate that cash implications of content usage and licensing including impacts on amortization expense for the WBD divisional reporting segments, tax, corporate reporting, and Participations/Residuals compliance

Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum 7 years accounting and forecasting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant experience
• MBA or CPA preferred
• Must have proficiency in all MS Office applications
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Quantitative analysis skills.
• Must be able to develop and implement projects.
• Strong written, oral and presentation skills; a confident communicator able to interact effectively at all levels of the organization and with a high degree of professionalism.
• Work independently and adapt to the changing needs of the division.
• Work well under time constraints.
• Strong multi-tasking skills.
• Good problem resolution skills, strong organizational skills, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage / develop staff.
• Strong attention to detail / experience working with high volume of data preferred.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $126,350.00 - $234,650.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
