Your New Role…
This position is critical to the process of reviewing advertising content scheduled to air on WBD's News, Entertainment, and International media platforms. Responsibilities include review of advertising materials in accordance with the Commercial Clearance Guidelines, issuing clearance decisions under tight deadlines, and alerting the Commercial Clearance Managers of problematic content to determine if restrictions, edits, or a rejection may be necessary.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Review advertisements, storyboards and other advertising content submitted for clearance or pre-clearance for WBD's media platforms
• Research claims made in ads, reputation of advertiser and other factors necessary to confirm whether the advertising content complies with WBD's commercial clearance guidelines
• Communicate with advertisers, agencies, Ad Sales, Legal and other internal business teams regarding advertising policies, placement restrictions, and questions concerning compliance with commercial clearance guidelines
• Maintain database of advertisements and commercial clearance decisions and create reports as needed to report metrics on those decisions
Qualifications & Experience…
• 2 years of experience in the media or advertising industries
• BA/BS degree required
• Interest in national and international news and current events
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, sound judgment and discretion
• Ability to think strategically, assess risk and problem solve
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills preferred
