Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with management team and employees to improve work relationships, enhance the companies´ culture as the ways we work and, based on the alignment to the company, improve people development, productivity and achieve companies' goals
• Facilitate people and team connection to execute the strategy. Find ways for Managers/ Senior leaders to create meaningful connections with each other and their teams.
• Provide expertise, consultation, and coaching to all levels of the organization on ways to address employee behavior and performance concerns
• Actively contribute to the business strategy; provide People & Culture expertise and challenge to the management team
• Develop strong working relationships and work closely with all People & Culture specialist functions to provide 'seamless' PC support and guidance to the business including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, PC Operations, LifeWorks, Diversity & Inclusion, Compensation & Benefits, etc
• Analyses trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and polices
• Identify skills gaps through effective resource planning and provide up-skilling processes to bridge these gaps
• Proactively review on an ongoing basis all PC policies and processes; with a view to improve efficiency and effectiveness within legal framework
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/ required.
• Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation. Conduct deep analysis of risk cases and how to avoid legal issues.
• Continuously strive to provide ''best practice'' HR advice and support, through information sharing internally and external benchmarking.
• To be up to date with the business and share relevant information from P&C function that reflects and impact the team and business.
Requirements:
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience
• Professional HR experience
• Fluent in Portuguese, Advanced in English, and Spanish is a plus
• Experience in working in high-volume, fast paced environment
• Knowledge local Employee and Labour Relations practices, laws, and regulations
• Demonstrated passion for employee relations, investigations, and employment law
• Proven experience in conflict resolution practices within a sophisticated, matrixed environment
• Experience in working with a culturally diverse workforce
• HR certification a plus
