Your New Role

The Benefits Manager will be a key member of the team and will lead our North America Insurance programs and Canadian Health and Retirement Programs, which are core to our employee value proposition and enable us to attract and retain our talented team. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with an understanding of scaling benefits programs and practices, a proven track record of conceptualizing successful strategies, leading project plans, and delivering on organizational goals. This position requires an ability to think strategically about problems as well as a knack for tactical execution. This role will help evolve Warner Bros. Discovery's benefits philosophy to help support a diverse and change employee population.

Your Role Accountabilities
• This role will lead the life, disability and business travel policies and programs. Working closely with internal and external partners to manage existing country benefit programs as well as grow and scale our processes.
• Lead the Canadian Benefit function to effectively design, implement, administer and manage the benefit program and policies and initiatives across Canada.
• Manage program budgets, benchmarking strategies, and third-party consultant/ broker/ vendor relationship
• Keeps up to date on regulations and new legislation; ensuring all country programs and policies are legally compliant; and oversee audits and any required filings
• Manages and delivers the annual US open enrolment process working with third parties/internal stakeholders to ensure a good employee experience

Qualifications & Experience
• 5 - 10 years of comprehensive experience in US Leaves and Disability Case Management and knowledge of the various legislative requirements.
• Deep knowledge of federal and state disability and accommodation laws, in addition to understanding the workplace accommodation process, specifically ADA/ADAA and FMLA.
• Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to design workable solutions, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, prioritize workloads, meet deadlines, and drive projects to successful implementation
• Manage program budgets, benchmarking strategies, and third-party consultant/ broker/ vendor relationship
• Bachelor Degree
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with autonomy through ambiguous circumstances.
• Strong business judgment and a practical, common-sense approach to getting things done.
• Successful record of building operational processes and procedures with a focus on continuously improving programs.
• Understanding of the need for confidentiality in maintaining integrity internally and externally with employee data.

The Legal Bits…
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $95,550.00 - $177,450.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
