The Job

The Accounting Junior Analyst manages daily financial and accounting tasks for the Marketing expenses team. The main duties include preparing and maintaining financial statements, compiling reports and processing journal entries and understanding the financial impact of them. The analyst should be able to have a properly and daily communication with the team in Buenos Aires and our stakeholders in the rest of the world and helps to innovate processes and achieve goals.

The Daily – Major Activities
• Create and control manual Journal entries related to media placement activity and any ad-hoc activity.
• Prepare monthly media placement rollforwards related to the Accrued Advertising Account.
• Run and control monthly allocations, control accounts, departments and updates needed.
• Assist with accounts payable, including uploading invoices, verifying payments, and coding invoices to the correct expense accounts.
• Prepare financial reports pulled from PeopleSoft or any other company tool.
• Prepare internal and external audits, identify and preparing accurate information.
• Balance sheet reconciliation of prepaid and accrued Marketing accounts.
• Update Desk procedure and propose process improvements.

The Essentials
• Graduates or advanced students from Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or the equivalent.
• ERP knowledge (SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft).
• Strong knowledge of MS office tools.
• English Skills (Intermediate or Advanced). Encouraged to speak and write frequently and fluently.

• Autonomous and self-motivated, to investigate possible solutions for issues with no pre-established answer.
