Job Description
Responsible for the administrative support to the Creative Legacy team for Walt Disney Animation Studios. Creative Legacy is an exciting production team within Disney Animation, whose focus is to partner with Walt Disney Imagineering to create the theme park and cruise lines attractions, live entertainment, and guest experiences based on our Studios films. The department also is the key Disney Animation production team and liaison working with Disney Music Group on live concert events, with Disney Theatrical Group for Disney On Ice, and other cross lines of business special projects. The team partners frequently in creating original hand-drawn and CG animation in support of these projects. The projects are ever evolving, with multiple projects happening within the department at any one time.

The department reports into the SVP – Communications & Publicity, Creative Legacy and Brand Strategy for Walt Disney
Animation Studios. The Senior Secretary will focus on supporting the team, and
in particular in scheduling meetings, arranging business travel and creating expense reports.
The role will report to the Associate Producer of the department. The role works with key studio leadership both internally and externally and the production team to successfully execute and prioritize constantly changing projects, schedules and delivery dates. The role will work alongside their Pixar counterpart in coordinating the creative director's schedule.

The role calls for someone who can:

skills and have the ability to work in a discreet and confidential manner.
-Additionally, must have an understanding of how best to work with teams of creative individuals.
-Exercise strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with a positive, flexible and professional disposition.
-Must be a forward thinker who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Arrange business travel for the team members, including the creative director, and head of Animation, who travel frequently.
-Support the leadership of the team (Creative Director, Associate Producer and Special Projects Producer) with their expense reports, working with our lead finance representative when needed
-Schedule key meetings for the department with business and production partners
-Additionally, the role will be asked to help support key meetings by helping arrange catering, conference rooms, etc.

Requirements:
-3-5 years minimum experience
-Extensive expense report and travel booking experience
-Demonstrated professionalism and ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion
-Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Keynote/Powerpoint
-Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions, delegate and change
course of action quickly
-Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
-Strong organizational and follow-thru skills, especially with extensive scheduling
-Effective communicator, both verbally and written
-Positive attitude and the ability to be proactive, resourceful and flexible
-Strong people skills, including the ability to work effectively as part of a team and with
professionals at all levels
-Ability to take initiative and work with limited supervision
-Must be a proactive problem-solver with creative instincts and business sense

Preferred Qualifications:
-Proven knowledge of Walt Disney Company policies and procedures
-Experience working with creative individuals
-Knowledge of animation and theme parks
-An admiration and knowledge of the films of Walt Disney Animation Studios

This is an OPEIU position covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
