Job Summary/Description:
Candidate would develop community contacts to be able to tell enterprise stories. Shoot, write and edit compelling community-driven stories on tight deadlines. Execute live reports as news warrants.
Candidate would be working and living in Valdosta, GA. Research, pitch, gather, shoot, write, edit and report news stories for broadcast and digital platforms. Live reporting, possibly daily for multiple newscasts. Turn more than one news story daily.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• College degree in journalism or related field required or equivalent professional experience. Must hold a valid driver's license, be insurable and pass a mandatory drug screening.
