Job Description
*Manage all accounting functions in accordance with GAAP for growing film sales / production / distribution company including G/L, A/P, A/R, journal entries, payroll processing, bank and credit card account reconciliations, month/year end close, and preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements.
*Manage A/R collections.
*Prepare quarterly producer reports.
*Oversee line of credit, annual renewal, and required CPA financial statement compilation.
*Responsible for all tax compliance, issuing 1099's and requesting 6166 forms.
*Support external CPA firm with year-end closes and tax preparation.
*Various other ad hoc finance projects as needed.
*Handle human resources functions including onboarding new employees and managing employee benefits.
*Must have at least 3 years of relevant entertainment experience; previous employment with film sales/production/distribution company preferred.
*Knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel & Outlook is required, and FilmTrack is preferred.
