VICE x Team:

The Senior Recruiter, Talent Acquisition will partner with the People, Culture and Impact function, referred to functionally as HR. The role will provide support to business leaders and local HRBP's in US and Canada markets while providing tactical and strategic talent acquisition and recruiting performance.

Role x You

We are looking for an experienced Recruiter to join VMG's growing Talent Acquisition team. You will be challenged in attracting candidates for your designated line of business, while also assisting the team's recruitment needs in other areas as well. As an ambassador of the brand, you will ensure all candidates have a world-class experience with us. Stories will be shared between you and your candidates. They will want to know about you, about the business you support, and why VMG is an incredible place to work. In turn, you will uncover what makes up their DNA in terms of capability, motivation, and passion. You will navigate candidates throughout the stages of the selection process. You will act as a storyteller and relationship builder while you help connect both external and internal candidates to career opportunities.

In the short term...Build and maintain excellent relationships with HRBP's and business leaders to grow business knowledge while recruiting outstanding candidates for VMG and creating an unmatched candidate experience. The Senior Recruiter, TA will gain insight on departmental objectives, opportunities to pipeline candidates for future/current needs, and current market dynamics.

After 6 months…Contribute to the development and implementation of creative sourcing strategies by utilizing the latest techniques, community partnerships and event activations to close sourcing pipeline gaps. Partner with the TA team to ensure the providing of an unmatched candidate experience, operational excellence and efficient pipeline recruiting strategies.

What you'll do:
• Partner with relevant business areas to understand their strategic objectives and meet their hiring needs
• Create structure and rigor around candidate management/experience; help to build a world-class candidate experience
• Lead player in managing a pillar of the overall talent experience at VMG
• Define, develop, and execute on recruitment strategy but not limited to direct sourcing, industry networking, internet/social media recruiting, employee referrals, hackathons, and relevant trade and industry organizations, while driving DEI initiatives
• Build and cultivate strong relationships with client groups by understanding business objectives and providing solutions to talent needs
• Partner with the finance and compensation teams in recommending new hire compensation packages to ensure VMG has a competitive position according to market and industry standards
• Contribute to our efforts of redefining recruitment processes of employer branding, social media and candidate experience
• Accurately manage the administration of candidate and requisition status reports, hiring metrics and recruitment policies

You have these:
• 5+ years of progressive in-house recruiting experience (a mix of agency and corporate in-house experience would be great to have).
• Demonstrated ability to manage high volume recruitment activities for various professional levels.
• Success in implementing innovative methods to source and attract passive candidates.
• Solid understanding in effectively managing the candidate and hiring manager's experience in the recruitment and onboarding process.
• Strong business acumen; be in the know on market trends and track the competition.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow up skills.
• Flexibility and team attitude is key.
• Excellent ability to make sound judgment decisions.
• Be able to juggle multiple priorities/deadlines through exceptional project management.
• Maintain high level of confidentiality.
• Strong proficiency MS Office and/or Google Workspace required.
• Ability to maximize use of ATS (applicant tracking tools) and digital technology to identify and track candidates is strongly desired. Experience with Workday is not required but is a major PLUS!

• Experience with Workday; but other ATS systems are ok too
• Possess a wide range of experience on current recruiting policies, practices, and industry trends
