A Senior Creative at Virtue is owns their ideas and is used to punching above their creative weight. You strive to create killer work, but also work that makes a difference in the world.

As a Senior Creative, you'll be working with your creative partner to generate, generate, generate. You'll need to be a prolific ideator, ready to keep ideas flowing. You will be the maker, doer, thinker, and executor, with help and guidance from creative leadership.

The goal will always be to produce fresh and compelling concepts and executions that reflect where culture is today, challenge culture as it stands, or embody culture itself. And in order to achieve that, you'll need to be immersed in culture. You should have a sense for where pop culture is headed next.

What you'll need to do:
• Come up with smart, fresh, gorgeous ideas and work with creative leadership to develop them into full-blown creative proposals
• Challenge yourself and your partner to think of brand behaviors rather than straight to advertising communications ideas
• Challenge yourself and your partner craft communication ideas too, beginning to shape concepts tightly
• Develop ideas and executions that are within budgetary constraints
• Sharpen your sense of creative vision for the work you're assigned to, and start to find ways to express that to the team around you
• Support creative leadership in developing pitch proposals, presenting to clients, contributing to productions, and anything else that helps the team
• Begin to shape campaigns and more complex creative proposals with multiple touch-points. Make the plan and execute it.
• Jump in whenever required, even when timelines are tight or asks are changing
• Keep up to date with the work out there in the industry, and start to shape your point of view on what's strong and what is celebrated but missing the mark
• Remain current with pop culture in your areas of interest, but also remain aware of the broader zeitgeist. Bring that knowledge to your projects, and require it of your team as well.
• Work collaboratively and respectfully with members of other departments (strategy, client management, creative production, integrated production, etc).
• Constantly strive to develop work that is creatively and aesthetically ambitious.
• Remain adaptable to changing and sometimes stressful circumstances.
• Contribute to a positive environment for all team members, speaking respectfully to and about your colleagues at all levels.
• Prioritize the collective needs of the agency over individual wants.

What you'll need to bring with you:
• 4-7 of experience working on recognizable brands
• Strong craft
• Solid ability to put creative ideas together in a way that feels complete, gettable, on brief, and on brand
• Readiness to present your creative ideas and the ability to intrigue clients with your thinking
• Comfort with creative production process and ability to shape music, edit, voiceover, styling, etc
• Flexibility, adaptability, and resilience to keep working at creative projects even if there are rounds of changes
• A scrappy and resourceful attitude; interest in coming up with earned media ideas with limits on budget or time
• Willingness to speak up and voice your opinions on the audience, the brand, etc
• An openness to feedback from the entire team and a willingness to be vulnerable with your ideas
• Interpersonal savvy; the ability to relate well to all kinds of people, build rapport, form constructive and effective relationships, utilize diplomacy and tact, and diffuse even high-tension situations comfortably
• Integrity and trustworthiness; ability to be direct and truthful, present the unvarnished truth, keep confidences, admit mistakes, and never misrepresent oneself for personal gain.
• Contemporary taste in design, copy, art direction, music, etc. All the magical stuff we use to make our work.
• A history of participating in culture in a genuine way
• Honesty, honesty, honesty. With creatives, with clients, with colleagues, and with yourself.
