VICE x Team:

The Recruiter, Talent Acquisition will partner with the People, Culture and Impact function, referred to functionally as HR. The role will provide support to business leaders and local HRBP's in US and Canada markets while providing tactical and strategic talent acquisition and recruiting performance.

Role x You

The Recruiter, TA will lead recruitment for entry level openings (but contribute where needed) in the US and Canada on Talent Acquisition needs and requirements, ensuring that the candidate experience is unmatched, and the internal candidate experience is one that continuously supports our employees' development, sense of belonging and careers - from searching and interviewing to onboarding. The Recruiter, TA will report directly to the Sr. Director, Talent Acquisition and be part of a first-class TA team that prioritizes HRBP partnership, relationships with the business and overall operational excellence. The Recruiter, TA is a trusted advisor, working closely with VMG leaders to establish the vision and roadmap for effectively recruiting early career candidates in US and Canada markets. As a strategic driver of organizational success, the Talent Acquisition function spans across recruitment, onboarding, and employer brand experience

In the short term...Build and maintain excellent relationships with HRBP's and business leaders to grow business knowledge while recruiting outstanding early career candidates for VMG and creating an unmatched candidate experience. The Recruiter, TA will gain insight on departmental. objectives, opportunities to pipeline candidates for future/current needs, and current market dynamics.

After 6 months…Contribute to the development and implementation of creative early careers sourcing strategies by utilizing the latest techniques, community partnerships and event activations to close sourcing pipeline gaps. Partner with the TA team to ensure the providing of an excellent candidate experience, operational excellence and efficient pipeline recruiting strategies.

What you'll do:
• Lead recruitment for entry level openings throughout US/Canada while developing a sourcing and recruiting strategy.
• Identify and implement pipeline and overall sourcing strategies that will drive talent to open positions and create a robust candidate slate inclusive of diversity.
• Proactively source, screen, interview, and recommend candidates for open roles and effectively share talent across the organization.
• Use creative strategies to proactively source and communicate with passive talent
• Offer out of the box solutions to talent strategies.
• Keep up-to-date with new recruiting methods; assist in developing consistent recruiting strategy.
• Ensure a smooth recruiting process by using communication skills to manage expectations and provide process updates to hiring teams and HRBPs.

You have these:
• 2-4 years recruiting experience within a staffing agency/search firm or corporate environment
• VMG is high energy and fast-paced while still valuing and utilizing a highly collaborative workplace; experience in a company with that mindset will go a long way!
• Experience creating projects and owning client relationships
• Experience working with Microsoft office, Outlook, PowerPoint, Google Workspace/G-Suite and ATS System preferred
• Passionate about providing exceptional candidate experience (both internal and external candidates) and prioritizing effectively communication to business leaders and HRBPs
• Proven aptitude to execute in a changing professional environment

We'd love if you also have these:
• Experience with Workday; but other ATS systems are ok too
• Possess a wide range of experience on current recruiting policies, practices, and industry trends
