Our best in class Production Accounting Team is supporting the Global Production Services Organisation, which comprises Editorial Production Management, Commercial Production, Post Production and Global Media Operations. The team sits at the intersection of the business goals and productions as the key liaison to the financial goals of the project.

Role x You

We're looking for a dynamic candidate who embodies a team first mentality and is focused on delivering high calibur results. Based in London, this role will ensure a smooth process between the production needs, the project budget, the AP and TandE team's requirements and reporting to Finance.

In the short term the selected candidate will get up to speed on the VICE Media Group policies and procedures and ensure alignment with the production and finance team's expectations. Reporting to the Senior Manager Production Finance, this role will be responsible for tracking all project costs in our production finance trackers and as a key liaison between the Production Team, AP Team, Finance and Treasury.

But after 6 months in this role will be the trusted team member to troubleshoot issues as they arise and deliver quality reports.

And after a year this role will be solely responsible for reporting from pre-production through wrap across multiple productions simultaneously and own communications between production, finance and business leads.

Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in a production accountant role servicing various types of TV, Film, Commercial, Digital, News Productions
• Past experience managing production payroll and fixed term contracts
• Past experience managing travel and expense payments
• Proven experience in a fast paced environment with multiple departments to coordinate and liaise across
• Strong system and Microsoft Excel skills
On a day to day you will work on the following:
• Generate weekly cost reports for Line Producers and VP of Production.
• Complete cost report functions: Audit Netsuite ledgers to cost trackers, Journal Entries, EFC updates, Variance Reports.
• Report show budget variances to Director of Production Accounting.
• Liaise with HR to track FTC costs monthly.

• Experience in Netsuite or various corporate financial systems
