Role x You:

The Media Support Team supports all media-producing teams globally. We are specialists in resolving media-centric issues on a daily basis and we love to help! As our Post-Production Support Engineer, you will provide both first-and-second line support including Video Edit, Graphics and Audio edit; diagnosing and resolving issues with all aspects of the post-production and storage environments across all lines of business.

Responsibilities:
• Respond to tickets in our support queue domestically, but also work with the wider Global Media Support team when necessary
• Effectively document problems and their resolutions
• Work with the team to plan and implement upgrades for all Post-Production systems
• Assist other VICE Media Tech staff with technical upgrades and new installations, in conjunction with 3rd party integrators and other third-party providers
• Work with the IT team to ensure desktop and work-from-home infrastructure work seamlessly together
• Work with key manufacturers and support vendors to achieve an appropriate level of service for the VICE lines of business
• Undertake preventative maintenance to ensure maximum system availability whilst managing and documenting the maintenance cycle

You have these:
• Incredibly strong media production software and hardware knowledge including, but not limited to: Adobe Premiere, After Effects, ProTools, DaVinci, Red Giant, Mixers, Peripherals, Frame Rates, Codecs, Captions, Mac and PC
• Experience working in a medium sized media / video production company in a similar support role
• Experience working with a ticketing system and can demonstrate a flair for multitasking and an ability to constantly juggle priorities
• Demonstrable knowledge of Networking infrastructure
• Candidates with JAMF experience extremely preferred
• Familiarity with CLI on Mac and PC
• Previous exposure to global workflows
• Great communication and interpersonal skills; you take pride in being able to deliver on customer satisfaction

• Experience supporting environments with MAM/PAM/DAM, Pixit, LTO tape libraries, Signiant, and Aspera also preferred

The salary range is subject to change and may be amended in the future. Experience, education, skills, and other factors are considered when determining the salary offered.

Pay Range Details:

New York/California: 75,000 - 88,000 USD
Outside New York/California: 64,000 - 75,000 USD
