VICE x Team
The Accounts Payable Manager will manage the day to day operations of a full cycle AP department and team, maintaining strong communication with the Onshore team. The perfect candidate will come from a similar size, high volume department with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines with both collaborative and hands-on efforts. The role is based in VICE's Mumbai office (onsite) and will report to the Global Senior Director of AP, T&E and Vendor Management with dotted line to the Global T&E Manager
Role X You
• Manage the offshore Accounts Payable department (10 APA's) in a multi-entity, multi-country environment
• Oversee the processing of vendor invoices, credit memos and T&E expenses is timely and accurate
• Be up to date on all updated Vice global policies regards purchase orders and T&E
• Assist with month-end closing
• Provide KPI reports for the offshore team
• Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments compliant with internal controls
• Assist with AP Aging report, resolving outstanding items and discrepancies between vendor statements
• Ensure the bank reconciliation is completed daily
• Ensure new vendors are created timely and accurately
• Support internal and external audit
• Ensure exceptions are passed to the Onshore team as per process
• Ensure processes are followed
• Ad hoc projects as assigned
• Handle staff absences, reviews, appraisals, holiday requests
Qualifications
• 5+ years AP Management in an offshore team
• Desired knowledge of Concur, Netsuite and Coupa.
• Previous experience working with a ticketing system
• Solid understanding of process and data workflows
• Global AP experience with exposure to regional taxes at an invoice level
• Excel and analysis skills (V-lookup and pivot tables minimum)
• Solid understanding of accounting internal controls
• Ability to work collaboratively across regions with an onshore team
• Organized, reliable, detail-orientated, hands-on, proactive and responsive
