CREATIVE DIRECTOR, VICE MEDIA GROUP BRANDED STUDIO

VICE x Creative Team
The Creative Director is a multi-faceted creative with a strategic mindset. An excellent storyteller and presenter, the Creative Director, is a leader who mentors, inspires, and draws out the best ideas. Responsible for setting the direction for our brand partner programs and ensuring creative excellence in execution.
Ultimately, the creative team (including you) are conceptual, strategic thinkers responsible for elevating and evolving the VICE Media Group's brand vision to develop co-branded partnership opportunities and proposals for our brand partners.
The creative team does a wide variety of work, including but not limited to: responding to client briefs by developing and pitching custom content programs, creatively integrating brand partners into VICE Media Group's franchises and editorial initiatives, and innovating on new content formats.
The team is highly creative, curious, and collaborative. We thrive in self-sufficiency and personal ownership.
Role x You
You are a passionate Creative Director looking to join our fast-paced team of curious problem solvers.
In the short term, you'll be developing ideas and proposals for our brand partners, including various executions such as; editorial and photo features, social-first initiatives, video series, or a combination of elements to create innovative partnership programs. Reporting to the Group Creative Director, you will empower a team of three or more creatives to concept, develop, and present new brand partner ideas and programs. The Creative Director will master the power and authenticity of Vice Media Group's voice to translate into impactful proposals.
But after 6 months in this role, we will also challenge you to proactively workshop new ideas and branded content initiatives internally through the various stages of development.
And after a year, you'll grow as a creative leader within the wider Vice Media Group, partnering with other leaders across the organization to develop a positive, collaborative, supportive culture and processes.
Qualifications
You have these
• 8+ years of experience spanning agency, digital media, or client experience focused on branded campaigns and knowledge on navigating a media-led organization
• A strong portfolio or reel of work
• Strong presentation and copywriting skills
• A track record building lasting partnerships and fostering teamwork that lead to wins
• Experience in the complete creative process (pre/production/post) and working closely across teams
We'd love if you also had these
• Knowledge of and familiarity with Adobe Creative, Keynote, and Google Slides
• A deep understanding of the VICE Media Group's audience and contemporary culture
• Subject matter expert in one or more of the following industries: Travel, Tech & Lifestyle, Auto, or Small Businesses
