Accounts Receivable Associate

Vice Media Group seeks a motivated, experienced accounts receivable associate to join our North American controllership team. This position will support the Senior Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist and include ensuring accuracy and efficiency of the sales and billing process.

Responsibilities
• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, and recording accounts receivables' data
• Prepare, verify, and process invoices for sales or services rendered (including digital ad campaigns)
• Assist with reconciling the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all invoices are accounted for
• Verify discrepancies and resolve clients billing issues
• Fill out vendor forms for potential/current clients so they make payment for invoices
• Maintain accounts receivable files and records

Qualifications

You have these:
• 3+ years of customer billing experience required
• Media industry or similar private company experience preferred
• Digital billing experience a plus
• Experience using NetSuite and/or Salesforce a plus
• Must have experience using cloud-based ERP system
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
• Creative, self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency
