Accounts Receivable Associate, Cash Application

Role x You:

As the Accounts Receivable Associate, Cash Application, you will be supporting the Accounts Receivable team to ensure accuracy and efficiency of the sales and billing process. Working with a global team, you will perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables' data.

Responsibilities:
• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, and recording accounts receivables' data
• Review bank reports for all VICE subsidiaries for cash received daily
• Prepare cash journal entries for cash deposited in US & Canada Bank accounts along with applying payments to various client invoices
• Ensure all cash transfers for all VICE subsidiaries are reviewed & accounted for
• Maintain & update cash trackers to assist with monthly bank reconciliations – one for journal entries and the other for applying payments to client invoices
• Maintain accounts receivable files and records

You have these:
• 2+ years of cash application and reconciliation experience required
• Experience using NetSuite and/or Salesforce a plus
• Must have experience using cloud-based ERP system
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
• Creative, self-disciplined, and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency
