Business Analyst (Technology Resilience & Business Continuity)

DESCRIPTION:

This position supports the Technology Resilience and Continuity team in delivering services for the ViacomCBS technology resilience and business continuity portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated background in technology customer service, application development, testing and deployments, understanding of data structures, strong organizational skills, experience working in across team functions, and interest in growing in the field of business resilience, continuity and disaster recovery. Experience working in emergency situations is a plus.

Essential Responsibilities

Support the migration of technology risk management, disaster recovery and business continuity into our SaaS platform - Fusion Risk Management including:
o Understanding and documenting data requirements to establish a data foundation in Fusion for applications, locations, and business processes
o Understanding and documenting end user requirements for software developers to implement
o Development of Fusions Risk Management forms and reports
o Migrating DR, BCP, BIA and Pandemic plans into Fusion
• Perform analytics and reporting for stakeholder purposes to provide transparency, governance procedures or to help improve processes.
• Proactively maintain, with a high degree of accuracy, weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly as well as ad/hoc reports and regular KPI reports for executives, technology and business stake holders including (calendar of DR exercises, schedule of training work sessions, exercise summary reports, dashboard for risk assessments and business impact analyses, resiliency project reports)
• At the direction of the VP Technology Resilience & Business Continuity, assist in coordination of meetings with technology and business stake holders for program and compliance activities.
• Provide support for special projects, key activities and business initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

Undergraduate degree in business, technology or a related field and/or equivalent work experience.

Experience with application development and deployments projects
• Ability to document process, procedure and system requirements to improve business processes, procedures and technology.
• Minimum 4 years of technology customer service support.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Strong diplomacy and adaptability attributes to contend with exposure to upper management.
• Must have the ability to plan for, prioritize and execute multiple recurring and ad hoc tasks.
• Strong computer skills required, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
• Must possess strong logic and reasoning skills.
• Strong analytical skills with extreme attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a true customer service orientation towards internal clients.
• Collaborative, team spirit.
• Absolute integrity, discretion and sensitivity to confidential company and employee information.
