Overview & Responsibilities:

As a Senior QA Automation Tools Engineer, you are expected to think critically and ensure quality throughout the automation system. The ideal candidate will work with developers, product managers, QA team members, and operations team members to ensure deliverables are timely and meet expectations. This role requires the ability to facilitate and manage automation processes including code quality and making overarching technical decisions, as well as mentoring the QA Engineers already working on the automation team.

Responsibilities:
• The Senior QA Automation Tools Engineer will contribute and mentor a team of QA Automation Engineers in developing test automation and tools for the Paramount+ and CBS Digital Streaming Applications.
• Design and develop Automation Frameworks that scale and follow standards and best practices in OOP Methodologies
• Administer Selenium Grid Architecture using Internal and Third Party Virtual Test Environments
• Design and support the Continuous Integration Environment for running QA Automation
• Design and develop Tools for reporting results using Third Party API Tools
• Analyze and adjust automation architecture to make it scalable as more features are added across all supported types of platforms

Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in advanced Java, Selenium, Appium, TestNG, Cucumber, and RESTassured™ API Automation
• Experience coaching, training, and mentoring QA engineers to ensure quality standards are met across the entire team
• Experience in CI using Git, Jenkins Pipeline, Docker and/or similar tools
• Experience building UI Automation on various platforms like Web, Mobile, and OTT Devices (Smart TV, Roku, Apple TV, etc.)
• Experience building API Automation using RESTassured™, Postman, and/or Charles Proxy
• Experience using Selenium Grid Architecture to develop or use Virtual Test Environments
• Experience building tools and utilities for use by Functional QA Automation Engineers
• Outstanding communication, organizational and interpersonal skills with both a technical and non-technical audience

Additional Qualifications:
• BA/BS in computer science or related technical field
• Experience in Multimedia or Entertainment verticals
• Experience developing a Metrics Dashboard to display test results over time
