Job Description
You will be responsible for handling improvements to existing business applications as well as supporting new initiatives for the Global Distribution Group (GDG). The GDG distributes ViacomCBS content for TV Licensing and Digital Distribution! Business functions covered include Rights Management, Deal Management and Accounting. This resource acts as an independent contributor Business Analyst, with expertise in a variety of tools, providing value to the business through effective process analysis and requirements development and documentation.

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
• Support Responsibilities
• Lead functional point of contact for content licensing application support for specific applications.
• Provide ongoing support by responding to inquiries and issues regarding the system or processes in the business area.
• Project Responsibilities
• Handles a component of a project or program or leads small to medium sized projects.
• Facilitates requirements gathering sessions, proactively drawing out requirements from partners regarding Content Licensing initiatives.
• Crafts requirements definition documentation and functional specifications to gather business needs and for validation with the customer and shared with project partners.
• Builds workflow diagrams to detail current and future business environment.
• Performs Gap Analysis to find opportunities for process improvements.
• Validates and acquires sign-off for functional requirements/specifications.
• Understands and follows acceptable project management frameworks according to organizational policy.
• Ensures accuracy of functional requirements/specifications for handoff to development team.
• Manages and documents changes to requirements throughout the project.
• Tracks and reports on project progress against BA defined requirements throughout the project life cycle.
• Establishes project schedules and/or facilitates Release Planning.
• Develops Project Plans and/or facilitates the creation of Project Backlog.
• Reviews test plans and scripts against requirements for completeness and accuracy.
• Performs application testing which includes detailing test scripts, performing test scripts, detailing results, and logging/managing issues.
• Prepare training materials, such as system manuals and quick reference guides, and conduct training sessions.
• Provides input on the selection of tools and methodologies for projects.
• Understands and follows acceptable Project Management Frameworks according to organizational policy.
• Receives general direction, work in progress is reviewed routinely.
• Seeks advice and approval when necessary to expedite results.
• Participates in negotiations with vendors and handling vendors in their work.

Basic qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 3 years Information Technology work experience, detailing business requirements and processes

Desired skills:
• Degree in Computer Science or related fields is desired
• PMP/Agile Certification desirable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Entertainment domain experience, specifically rights management and content licensing
• Ability to work independently with senior business leadership
• Ability to develop strong working relationships with both business users and technical team members
• Ability to develop expertise in both technologies and business processes quickly
• Ability to communicate functional requirements to technical partners
• Experience preparing training materials and conducting business user training sessions
• General understanding of IT concepts, including networks, security, servers, storage, applications, infrastructure and governance
• Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
• Experience with Salesforce Cloud
• Experience with Rights and Royalty management systems
• Experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Experience working with multiple lines of business and systems
• Experience crafting system wireframes and/or user interface design
