Role Details:

We are seeking a versatile Production Design Manager with a proven track record, who can help execute our vision. The ideal candidate will participate with other design and product leaders to drive a design vision, strategy, and executional standards across the entire CBS All Access / Paramount+ customer experience. At our Burbank design studio, designers have the opportunity to work on the streaming service CBS All Access / Paramount+ across CBS.com, CBS mobile apps and connected TV devices (Apple TV, Roku etc)!

You lead by example and know that great design is a focus on the problem and not the solution. You are tech savvy, have strong organizational skills and are always looking for ways to streamline the process. You mentor work that displays both a pixel-level attention to detail, as well as an acute understanding of broader usability paradigms. You are someone who is able to transform art assets at hand into visual narratives that elevate the product and are easy to use and visually balanced across any device. You are a standout colleague that lives and breathes the interactive space.

Your Day-to-Day:
• Manage a team of 3-5 production designers to provide guidance and support on best digital design practices in partnership with the greater design team in creating artwork within our product space following specific guidelines and requirements
• Manage, review and approve projects while maintaining quality levels across a broad spectrum of production art assets from start to finish in a collaborative, productive and communicative work environment
• Insure a strong and consistent visual narrative as well as an ongoing tuning of production templates used across all of our platforms
• Balance a dynamic list of priorities and be prepared to switch gears from project to project as deadlines and priorities shift
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, curation, marketing and video ops to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception and user-experience
• Additional other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

What you bring to the team:

You are -
• A minimum of 6 years of production design experience with 3 years of that in a supervisory or leadership role
• A robust portfolio of production design and strong story-telling creative
• Ability to manage and facilitate a multilevel production design team with structured and disciplined work planning skills
• Someone who understands the design process behind photo retouching, artwork manipulation, image extension, color correction and the creation of depth using organic lighting and shadows
• Adaptable to fast paced timelines and evolving priorities
• An aesthetic eye and a master at paying attention to detail, accuracy, quality and continuity and understands written and verbal instructions
• Excellent interpersonal skills with persons on all platforms; Direct messaging, virtual environments, email, telephone and in person
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Acrobat, Bridge
• Someone who loves a healthy work/life balance but is comfortable with occasional overtime if needed, sometimes with short notice
