ViacomCBS is seeking to add a new manager to the team!

The People Analytics function seeks to provide ViacomCBS business leadership with data-driven insights across the full talent management stack. From diversity and inclusion, to recruiting, to performance management, to engagement and culture, to workforce planning. The Manager, Production Talent Analytics, role reports directly to the VP of People Analytics & Workforce Planning. The right candidate will be a self-starter who is capable of learning new HR and analytics systems, engaging with partners both within and outside of HR, and conducting analyses to derive insights for the organization. Stepping into a newer function that is growing in responsibility, there is a lot of opportunity to learn and to contribute to exciting, innovative analytics projects!

Responsibilities

ViacomCBS is home to production talent (writers, producers, actors, grips, etc.) whose people data is often collected independently by each production or by third-party payroll services rather than via our central human capital management (HCM) platform. Of particular interest is Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) data, which is critical in helping ViacomCBS to track to its DEI commitments to those both on-screen and behind the camera. We are looking for someone who can:
• Liaise across production leadership, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), third-party vendors, the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) team, the HR technology team, and the Office of Global Inclusion (OGI). All to craft a process by which production talent data can be sourced, cleaned, analyzed, and presented.
• Build dashboards in Tableau, Visier, SuccessFactors, or other such tools to support various analytics initiatives related to DEI, recruiting, performance, workforce planning, and so on for production talent.
• Support the design and rollout of the Employee Central core reporting and Cloud Analytics modules in SuccessFactors.

Basic Qualifications
• A Bachelor's degree in a Business, Information Systems, or Mathematics field (e.g., Applied Math, Statistics, Operations Research) is required for this position.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in analytics, DEI, HR, or related function.
• Expertise with Microsoft Excel (VBA/macros are a bonus, but minimally functions like PivotTable and VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint is mandatory.
• Proficiency with Tableau (loading datasets, setting up calculated fields, and crafting worksheets/dashboards/stories).
• Ability to communicate statistical concepts and outputs to non-experts in both a written and verbal manner.
• Intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and ability to work within tight deadlines are all valuable traits for this role.
• Ability to independently lead project details after being provided with strategic direction.
• A consultative/intrapreneurial mentality is required as you will be problem-solving, uncovering insights, and sometimes identifying your own projects.

Additional Qualifications
• Experience with statistical software and programming (SPSS, R, Python, SQL) is a plus, but not required.
• Familiarity with SuccessFactors is preferred but not mandatory if candidate is willing to learn quickly upon joining.
