Overview and Responsibilities
ViacomCBS is seeking a Manger of Analytics to support all marketing impact analysis and extract insights from our marketing campaigns. This covers our owned media channels including Digital, TV, Social and CRM efforts. The ideal candidate excels at turning data into stories and meaningful recommendations and has experience analyzing cross-platform media campaigns. This role reports into the VP, Media Planning and Analytics.
Responsibilities
• Develop management reporting and analyses that bring together the impact of on air marketing on content sampling and consumption across platforms
• Execute weekly and monthly reports that evaluate campaign performance and identify marketing and creative optimization opportunities
• Engage with Programming, Creative Strategy and Scheduling teams to assess campaign objectives and support development of corresponding marketing plans
• Identify opportunities for collaborative cross-promotion across brands
• Implement, measure and improve upon cross-promoted media
• Coordinate with research team to produce ad hoc analysis and react to emerging business questions as needed
• Evaluate tech solutions to aid inventory optimization, campaign planning, optimization and performance evaluation
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years experience in media
• Familiarity with third-party measurement solutions like Nielsen, iSpot, Kantar, ComScore, ACR platforms, etc
Additional Qualifications
• Familiarity with marketing and media planning principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and media research/reporting resources
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze raw data and turn into meaningful insights
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including problem-solving and ability to convey technical findings in layman's terms
