Job Description
Overview & Responsibilities:

The Retail Marketing team develops a full range of omnichannel marketing programs supporting the ViacomCBS Consumer Products business at retail. The Manager, E-commerce, Specialty & DTC Marketing will lead the charge on the day-to-day execution of Retail Marketing initiatives for Amazon & specialty retailers as well as for our DTC sites. They will partner hand in hand with each level of the Retail Marketing and Sales Team touching ideation, asset development, project management, timelines, meeting notes, organization, and presentation development. They will also have the opportunity to lean into key cross-retail initiatives!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Manage the Amazon business through the development of marketing strategies, presentation materials and seamless execution of programs to achieve sales goals
• Develop and maintain relationships with the Retail Sales team, Retailer Marketing/merchant teams, key partners, and internal partners
• Initiate and manage the process of briefing retail creative by working directly with Global Creative Group (GCG) to ensure accurate approval of all marketing materials by internal teams.
• Maintain all marketing communications (i.e. retail calendars & one-sheets) and make sure that all materials are distributed internally so teams are proficient on initiatives.
• Monitor sales data to assess return on investment on marketing activations and provide program recaps to key partners identifying key takeaways for future campaign development
• Route all 3rd party, influencer, social, and retailer creative through all internal departments
• Work with Amazon to ensure smooth submission and execution on all marketing requests at the account level (i.e., signage, roll-out schedules, etc.)
• Manage outside creative/marketing agencies with any necessary retail pitch presentation development.
• Leaning in on cross-retail campaign execution as required including marketing campaign development and execution across TV, digits, social, press, etc.
• Execute all levels of marketing support by working hand-in-hand with internal/external partners
• Manage all sample requests, sample delivery, and coordination to necessary agencies
• Develop and build Retail Marketing case studies, pitch one-sheets, campaign decks, etc.
• Oversee day-to-day and campaign budget management, ensuring that budgets are up to date and tracking against monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts.
• Research and liaise with new technologies and innovative ways to help drive consumer engagement.

Basic Qualifications:
• 4+ years experience in licensing, consumer products, marketing, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree OR applicable progressive experience in retail, marketing, creative agency, licensing, consumer products fields may be considered in lieu of education.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint, Keynote, Excel, etc. Photoshop/Illustrator preferred

Additional Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of the entertainment industry, familiarity with animation, programming, and/or production processes.
• Keen understanding of social media and emerging technology
• Excellent creative writing and grammatical skills; copywriting and review skills.
• Effective communicator with excellent verbal and interpersonal skills to facilitate meetings, presentations, and communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience.
• Strong prioritization, organization, and project and deadline management skills
• Ability to understand financial statements and forecasting.
• An analytical mind; able to provide insightful conclusions and recommendations based on trend data and market research.
• Creative teammate with high energy and a passion for product, design, entertainment, and marketing.
• Ability to effectively elevate strategic concerns to senior management in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ability to develop strong working relationships with management and external resources. Strong knowledge of cross-team calibration.
• Good judgment and ability to provide information toward the determination of process and strategy.
• Ability to exercise a high degree of integrity and professionalism.
• Demonstrated leadership in encouraging continuous learning, empowerment, involvement, and opportunities.
