Overview and Responsibilities
ViacomCBS is always on the lookout for fresh talent at the Log Specialist level to join our Commercial Operations department. Our team of Log Specialists work together with the Copy Specialist Team and Client Service Representative Team to execute a network's commercial inventory. The Log Specialist is responsible for scheduling the commercial elements on a network, while working with and supporting a variety of other internal departments to ensure the satisfaction of ViacomCBS's clients.
• Must ensure that commercials are scheduled to achieve competitive separation on product and advertiser level; receive equal rotation, and deliver as expected by advertisers
• Collaborate with Pricing & Inventory, Sales, and Programming to strategically handle weekly inventory and ensure units with restrictions/separation clear in their flighted weeks
• Update Sales on potential clearance issues and send pre-empted bin reports daily
• Build program/traffic formats in accordance with P&I capacities
• Ensure live linear addressable air within their windows
• Perform quality control checks on logs to avoid scheduling conflicts
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 1+ years experience in Ad Sales, preferably with Traffic or Operations
Additional Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience with Wide Orbit preferred
• Program Tracking System & E-log experience preferred
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail, work ethic and excellent judgment
• Results-oriented and able to balance multiple assignments at a time in a fast paced environment
• Dedicated customer service skills
