Job Description

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Oversee the application development, project completion, and support for Oracle Financials R12 Single Global Instance. Assess business needs, gather requirements, analysis and design work, implement business applications, and follow up with post production support. Propose and implement initiatives to consistently increase overall department-wide efficiency and standards. Provide day-to-day production support for the existing Oracle Financials instances, including custom extensions. Perform analysis, design, configurations, and implementation of bug-fixes, enhancements, and projects. Serve as primary contact for Accounts Receivables and General Ledger modules across all divisions for any production support or new projects. Convert business requirements into functional and technical specification documents. Provide technology solutions across the software development lifecycle, including requirements, functional specifications, design, custom development, integration, testing, and deployment. Develop software code that conforms to IT standards for quality and conformity. Develop project management plans and estimates to support project and enhancements implementation activities. Perform fit-gap analysis, requirements gathering, solution design, application configuration, and testing. Perform frontend functional configuration of Oracle Financials. Create functional design documentation to assist the technical team in developing new and enhanced functionality for standard and custom applications. Provide training to users regarding new functionality. Complete requirements definition and functional design documentation for prioritized technology solutions. Lead the development team in understanding the business requirements as they relate to the respective functional area. Partner with onsite/offshore development and quality assurance team members in all phases of project delivery and production enhancements. Work with governance and audit teams and prepare audit deliverables. Act as a functional lead for addressing production issues, new business implementations, and development projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requirements: Must have a Bachelor's Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Must have 5 years of Oracle eBusiness experience. The 5 years of experience must include experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite financials including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payables; providing Oracle Financials Application production support; Oracle ERP applications database architecture; converting business requirement into functional specification documents; business requirements assessment, solution and solution design; change and ticket management processes; SQL; PL/SQL; Oracle Form Builder; Oracle Report Builder; and XML Publisher.
