DESCRIPTION:

ViacomCBS is seeking a HR Analyst to join our HR M&A and Transformation team. This team primarily works with the Transformation PMO (Project Management Office), a group dedicated to driving strategic operational change across ViacomCBS. Current projects include: (1) managing the ViacomCBS merger program, (2) building a new strategy for reimagining a remote workplace, and (3) finding opportunities for future corporate transformation. The HR Analyst will collaborate directly with the PMO, key business leaders, and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to expand and refine related people metrics, build analytical models, and deliver people insights across global corporate M&A and transformation programs. In addition, the group is responsible for building and managing operational excellence through all M&A activity. The ideal candidate is highly organized, data savvy and driven to learn, innovate, and drive transformation.

Responsibilities
• Track and quantify multi-dimensional people/labor impacts of corporate transformation projects; package results for progress updates with c-suite and other senior leadership
• Use people data to influence remote work policies, real estate demand, technology needs, budgetary impacts, and employee experience
• Work closely with Transformation PMO team to size labor opportunities related to new programs and projects
• Manage the translation of data from numerous sources (HRIS, Salesforce, surveys, etc.) into normalized data sets used for reporting and analytics
• Collaborate with HRBPs to track organizational change initiatives in Excel and Salesforce, and improve on data collection processes
• Find opportunities for improving overall data analytical and visualization capabilities and help the team to adopt new technologies
• Partner with Sr Director to project manage HR planning and execution regarding new acquisitions, divestitures, or other corporate expansion projects
• Empower functional leaders with data, tools, and process solutions to drive operational efficiencies through M&A activity
• Establish framework of metrics and KPIs to measure success of M&A activities



QUALIFICATIONS:

Requirements
• 3-5 years of data analytics experience; preferably with some experience in People Analytics, HR Technology/Operations, or HRBP
• Working knowledge of data and operational needs across HR functions
• Expert ability to manage dynamic data sets in Excel and other data tools
• Experience working with data visualization tools (Tableau, Google Analytics, Salesforce, etc.) a plus
• Strong critical thinking and consultative skills; experience influencing decision makers with data-driven solution recommendations and measuring their outcomes
• Strong consultative and partnering skills. Proven ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, multi-task efficiently and work with diverse personalities and all levels of management in a fast paced environment
• Ability to analyze processes within a cross-functional organization; effective in implementing new and improved processes
• Executive presence - must be comfortable collaborating with senior business leaders
