Overview

Is this the role for you?

This highly visible leadership role must be able to work collaboratively across the organization, engaging with Technology leadership, International Business Unit leadership, and the Finance organization at corporate and at the regional / cluster levels. The position leads all aspects of both operating and capital expense for the international tech organization, guiding the team in decision making, planning, reporting, analysis, and metrics. This role reports to the Senior Vice President, Technology Finance, and will manage a team primarily based in Budapest.

What will you be doing?

In partnership with the Senior Vice President, Technology Finance, the Director will:
• Lead the periodic planning and reporting process for the International Technology (VCNI) organization, coordinating timelines and deliverables with business and finance stakeholders
• Consolidate, analyse, and present Technology VCNI financials. Succinctly articulate variance drivers and recommend course-correction opportunities
• Partner with Technology leadership to produce actionable strategic insights and support in business decision making by providing transparency and visibility on financial results
• Identify and drive efficiency opportunities for the team's financial processes
• Partner with technology stakeholders on decision making and develop business cases for new initiatives across VCNI, including evaluating internal rate of return, financial budget impacts, and cash flow
• Monitor and track project financials at all levels including strategic impact, budget adherence, revenue generation, expense recognition, and cost centre recognition
• Motivate and develop a team by encouraging professional impact and a culture of feedback, mentoring, and employee development

What are we looking for?
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business. MBA, CPA, or similar advanced degree/designation is a plus
• Demonstrable years of relevant financial experience
• Experience supporting a technology organization preferred
