Under the mentorship of the VP of Global Analytics, this role is informing and improving content-related decision-making for Paramount Pictures – from within the Global Theatrical Marketing & Distribution Department – via data exploration, visualization, analysis, and storytelling!

More specifically, these responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Ideating the best and most effective ways to answer wide-ranging questions about what content Paramount Pictures should be making and optimizing
• Serving as a strategic data storyteller by crafting clear deliverables and optimally communicating insights and recommendations to a wide variety of internal and external creative, technical, and business stakeholders
• Performing complex analyses to inform strategic prioritization, optimization, and findings for content-related decision-making
• Driving the setup, execution, and analysis of content-related and consumer demand-related experimentation initiatives across multiple countries in collaboration with key partners from across the studio
• Monitoring, as needed, real-time audience reactions and key metrics across social channels, digital media, and various other audience intelligence platforms to identify consumer trends and uncover insights to help craft content strategies and tactics
• Tracking and compiling entertainment industry trends and performing strong analyses to inform content strategies
• Designing and building, as needed, new front-end dashboards and tools to help deliver insights to key partners
• Developing positive relationships with various partners
• Working with the Global Data Science team on macro-analyses and content-related modeling / product development projects
• Day-to-day management of more junior Content Analytics team members

Basic Qualifications:
• 6+ years of experience in a highly analytical and data-driven environment
• 3+ years of experience at an entertainment studio and/or streaming platform, with a focus on content analysis
• Strong background of identifying key questions, performing quantitative analyses independently, and communicating findings in a clear and concise manner
• Excellence in crafting, presenting, and socializing complex ideas, recommendations, and insights with an adaptable communication approach, as necessary, to partner with broad team member groups
• Meticulous attention to detail, and an ability to balance multiple projects with varying degrees of completion and priority in a fast-paced environment
• Deep understanding of the social media landscape – including platforms, metrics, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree a plus
• Hands-on experience building dashboards using enterprise-level data visualization tools (Tableau, specifically, a plus)
• Advanced SQL knowledge and experience
• Experience in traditional market research, particularly in the entertainment industry
• Working knowledge of various social analytics and audience analysis platforms (Talkwalker, ListenFirst, Affinio, Crimson Hexagon, NetBase, Sprinklr, etc.)
