But enough about us. It's right there in the title… we're looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to join our global Information Security Group.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical information security background and enterprise IT experience. The engineer will focus on building and enhancing the company's security capabilities to meet risk and corporate requirements. The role will also collabrate with stakeholders across security and technology groups to obtain maximum value out of technological investments and build operational and management models to support the technology as it is operationalized. This is a key position and will provide the opportunity to work on security and technology initiatives with a company-wide reach.

About the job:
• Support the next generation of security strategy covering technologies and processes associated with network infrastructure, operating systems, cloud, remote working, intrusion detection, vulnerability management
• Work with project teams, architects, and constituents to implement solutions in support of corporate information security objectives
• Support audits and enforcement of policies and associated plans for system security and access as defined by company standards
• Support response to security and incidents and other investigative and security related matters
• Analyze and recommend changes to rectify any infrastructure security deficiencies or to enhance security performance
• Collaborate with business unit and corporate partners to ensure they build solutions consistent with the organization's policies and standards

QUALIFICATIONS:

About you:
• 3+ years of experience working in companies with comprehensive security programs
• Technical knowledge in core domains of IT infrastructure such as data networks, Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems
• Confident understanding of core domains of IT infrastructure such as data networks, server and desktop hardware and operating systems, messaging, collaboration, storage and backups, and related management systems
• knowledge of security principles, practices, technologies, programs and security frameworks such as ISO and NIST
• Experience with a range of security technologies such as firewalls, malware protection multifactor authentication, encryption technologies, remote access/VPN, endpoint and cloud security
• Experience in working with incident response teams and supporting the threat analysis processes
• SANS or related security certification preferred
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
