Associate Quality Assurance Engineer

DESCRIPTION:

Division Overview:

The QA team is responsible for supporting the video streaming applications for CBS All Access on over 15 platforms.

Role Details:
Our team is looking for an Associate Quality Assurance Engineer to help define and execute comprehensive, automated test plans for our mobile and OTT video streaming applications and services. As a member of our core QA team, our Associate QA Engineer should be comfortable designing effective and iterative test plans in collaboration with our product, engineering, and QA teams.

Your Day-to-Day:
• Assist in creating QA automation scripts
• Report application defects and perform regression testing as needed
• Manually testing in areas where automation does not exist yet
• Help to gather testing steps on new and existing products
• Collaborate with other QA Engineers to increase automation coverage
• Additional other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

Key Projects:
• Participate in the development of an automated testing framework
• Assist in defining QA standards for use across all platforms
• Integrate automation test into a release pipeline

QUALIFICATIONS:

What you bring to the team:

You have -
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Willingness to learn new things
• Able to demonstrate excellent problem solving skills
• Strong organizational skills, extreme attention to detail and solid follow up

You might also have -
• 1+ years experience in automation testing or software engineering
• Some experience with automation testing tools (Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, etc)
• Experience working with cloud automation tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, etc)
• An understanding of version control systems (GIT)
