We are looking for an energetic and motivated leader to head the North America Tracking and Analytics team. The North America Tracking and Analytics department ensures revenue collection and maximization within both the United States and Canada for deals signed worldwide. The department sits at the epicenter of the company's key priority for our writers and contract partners – capitalizing on the value of our song catalog.

The Director of North America Tracking and Analytics will be an integral member of the company's leadership team and serve at the center of an interdisciplinary department. This position will be responsible for managing a team that analyzes income from US and Canadian sources, assists in income forecasting projects, works with our Global Tracking and Analytics department to ensure collections are in line with expectations, and reports trends from top music and video streaming platforms. The right candidate should have an eye for detail, with the ability to identify trends and anomalies. They should feel at home working with large datasets and be able to summarize findings concisely to senior management across the company.

How you'll CREATE:
• Assist with the analysis of income and royalties from US and Canadian sources. These sources include, but are not limited to, streaming, mechanical, performance, and synchronization sources and societies.
• Ensure royalty accountings are reported accurately, timely, and in compliance with agreements and expectations.
• Recruit, train, and develop a team of high performing analytical professionals.
• Develop and nurture relationships with Performing Rights Societies, record labels, mechanical societies, and other sources of income.
• Work with Copyright, Finance, and Business Affairs to ensure that new and existing deals and acquisitions are monetized and collected on according to expectations.
• Own, manage, and refine the new deal implementation process.
• Develop and refine processes and procedures to ensure that the royalty/collection value chain is optimized.
• Work jointly with other North America Administration departments to ensure the accuracy of song registrations and royalty postings.
• Collaborate with Global Tracking and Analytics department regarding North America tracking issues.
• Build custom reports and presentations for senior management.
• Assist with ad hoc requests/projects
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritize projects with competing deadlines appropriately.
• A knack for building consensus amongst multiple internal stakeholders.
• Knowledge of music publishing royalties, copyright economics, and industry accounting principles.
• Ability to interpret data, make conclusions, and represent data creatively to senior executives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to develop and hone relationships across departments
• 5+ years of relevant experience in music publishing or similar music-centric organization.
• Experience managing people in a high-volume industry.
• Advanced knowledge of music publishing economics and/or royalties or background in financial analysis.
• Four-year college degree.
