Job Description
Your role, as Digital Sales Manager is to work directly with our Sales Team to drive sales best practice, to own lead generation and to champion the embedding of our CRM system (Salesforce), and the implementation of selling tools and resources. In addition, you will support the team with the management of key clients as required by the business.

This is a unique opportunity for a data-driven and commercially savvy professional to join our Sales Team and to play and active part in building our growth strategy. You will be responsible for driving growth via online sales, promotional activities and data analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

Skills & Experience

Be Collaborative
• Able to build relationships with key clients via face-to-face meetings
• Assist in planning, implementing and driving all aspects of the sales & marketing strategy
• Offer efficient technical support for clients with any queries related to our website, hard drive solutions or other tools
• Efficiently follow up on all tasks resulting from your client interactions
• Work with marketing to ensure that all activations support the wider sales goals, actively contributing ideas and initiatives for client engagement across PR, e-marketing, targeted campaigns, promotions and social media
• Attend all relevant departmental meetings
• Relay client feedback to the Production Team including pitching, new track & album ideas
• Support the Head of Sales contributing to our commercial goals and to key projects undertaken to develop and grow our business

Be Commercial
• Proactively promote our wide range of services and apps to clients using all online tools available
• Creatively look for ways to add value to our offer to clients in a very competitive landscape
• Developing a regular targeted prospecting and outreach cycle

Be Knowledgeable
• Able to advise clients on licensing and rates
• The timely provision of accurate music searches for client music briefs either directly or via the Music Supervision Team
• Provide weekly progress reports on client feedback including new briefs, usage, music trends, new projects, relevant events and new contacts

Person Specification

Necessary
• Experience building a pipeline and generating sales using online tools eg LinkedIn Sales Navigator
• Experience using data to inform engagement plans
• Strong technical background
• Have a passion for music and a good musical ear
• Be skilled in modern selling including digital and social selling
• Have strong experience of growing sales using online tools
• Be able to work successfully in a virtual environment
• Possess excellent Salesforce/CRM skills or equivalent
• Be able to cultivate new customer opportunities and create market awareness
• Develop and implement a business plan for your selected clients and market sectors
• Work collaboratively with The Management Team and the Marketing and Technical Teams to ensure all marketing activity is on point, and that you maintain the highest level of product knowledge
• Maintain the existing customer base
• Be forever on the lookout for opportunities to further grow relationships with key clients

Desirable
• Experience of dealing with our clients including major broadcasters, advertising agencies, independent TV production companies, game developers and sync houses
• Knowledge of the music publishing business
• An understanding of production music and film & TV licensing
• Knowledge of video and audio editing systems
• Interest in digital media
• Interest in new and emerging technologies
• Adaptability and flexibility in the ever-changing world of music licensing
• Positivity and a can-do mindset when faced with new opportunities
• Self-motivation and a sense of pride in achieving stretch goals on your own merit
• An appetite for learning
