UMG Nashville is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to provide assistance and support to the Marketing Project Managers.
How you'll CREATE:
• Coordinate and assist with overall agendas for meetings with internal team/management
• Oversee creation of marketing assets
• Compose and edit marketing copy for ad campaigns, video scripts and various marketing assets
• Invoicing and communicating directly with vendors for payment processing
• Brainstorm and contribute ideas for single/album launch and overall artist development
• Hire and oversee interns each semester
• Maintaining quarterly budgets
• Generate and maintain album launch schedules
• Book and execute album and single release advertising
• Create and maintain project marketing plans
• Organize and distribute tickets for artist shows in major markets
• Book travel for artists and contest winners for special events
• Plan, organize and execute industry and artist events, including award show campaigns
• Oversee mailings from marketing department
• Communicate between departments on assigned projects
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Bring your VIBE:
• Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
• Music industry experience is a plus
• Administrative experience required
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite required
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively within a fast-past environment
• Extremely detail-oriented and organized
• Excellent creative thinking skills
• Working knowledge of music industry preferred
• An understanding of the current marketing landscape and digital platforms
• Ability to carry out projects/tasks independently
• Ability to learn new software programs as necessary
