Job Description
This role will support the Senior Manager, Finance and Content Technology in delivering the Company's metadata set up, workflow and processes. The role will work with business functions to schedule and deliver releases accurately and timely.

Skills & Experience
• Manage repertoire setup, research, and completion for both new and catalogue releases across Mercury Studios and UMG systems and formats (physical & digital)
• Provide expertise of metadata systems and workflow processes within the Mercury Studios/UMG supply chain
• Liaise with internal teams in addition to external UMG colleagues to establish a cohesive and transparent workflow
• Resolve metadata issues accurately, ensuring solutions work for all the parts of the business and deadlines are adhered to
• Assist in linking current, historic, and future repertoire to the Global Rights System and other Rights solutions
• Resolve and escalate technical issues with the different partners.
• Support the Senior Manager's vision as it pertains to Content & Finance technology
• Provide additional training to the systems coordinator as assigned by the Senior Manager
• End to end release management and monitoring as assigned by the Senior Manager, with a special focus on video content
• Provide progress reports of delivered content and revenue streams
• Ensure correct and complete product setup in R2 so that revenue for the Studio's audio and audio-visual content is claimed and secured
• Ensure quality control of metadata ingested into R2 system.
• Manage global digital and physical initiatives as briefed by the Senior Manager
• Provide cover for the Senior Manager, Finance & Content Technology if necessary

Person Specification
• A detailed understanding of metadata requirements and related issues (desirable, not essential)
• Experience in video release management
• Experience in quickly understanding new business information systems and processes
• Ability to work closely with other team members while, at the same time, taking responsibility for and initiative over personal workload
• Excellent coordination, communication, reporting and trouble-shooting skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, multi-task and be highly flexible to juggle priorities and meet all deadlines
• Personable and co-operative approach, strong verbal and written communication
• Ability to communicate effectively to colleagues, key internal and external business contacts
• Degree level qualification
• Experience in Information Systems / IT / Database Management (desirable, not essential)
• Strong passion for and knowledge of music and audio-visual content
• Driven and results orientated
