Job Description
UTA's Gaming & Esports division seeks a dedicated analyst to support the department's work with esports athletes and live-streamers and work closely with the agency's insights and analytics division, UTA IQ. The analyst will be responsible for understanding and digesting key insights surrounding each client and the performance of their respective business engagements and growth across the digital ecosystem. They will leverage both proprietary and third-party analytics tools (i.e., livestreaming, social listening, demographic, psychographic, geographic, etc.) to drive the use of data and analytics around client performance, commercial engagements, and growth strategies.

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious self-starter that is able to problem-solve. They must have a passion for not only identifying what the data shows, but also digging deeper to uncover the story behind 'why'. They will need to be well-organized with a passion for entertainment, video games, creators and the digital ecosystem and be excited to work within an innovative area of the business that operates at the cutting-edge of a new entertainment medium.

UTA Gaming & Esports finds opportunities across the different business areas and works with creators, pro players, publishers, developers and brands to create best in class partnerships, content, and activations within the video game and esports industry.

What You'll Do
• Evaluate the performance of commercial engagements across the Gaming & Esports roster and relate those back to key performance indicators.
• Present findings to internal stakeholders, clients and brand partners in a coherent and compelling fashion.
• Integrate intelligence tools into the UTA Gaming & Esports group's daily work.
• Stay current with emerging media, trends, and technologies, and share them with the broader Gaming & Esports group.
• Be a thought-leader for the UTA Gaming & Esports group in devising new and innovative ways to leverage data to solve client challenges and exploit opportunities.
• Work in tandem with UTA IQ to uncover new valuable sources of data that will elevate the Gaming & Esports division.

What You'll Need
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or related field strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a marketing technology or analytics role.
• Prior experience working in entertainment and/or media industry with extensive knowledge of current and relevant markets preferred.
• Superior communication and presentation skills.
• High degree of motivation, and ability to demonstrate creative thinking.
• Impeccable organizational and time management skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to navigate an organization and operate in an incredibly fast paced, multifaceted environment.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint a must.
• Knowledge of industry-leading digital analytics platforms and can navigate with ease.
• Data science capabilities, such as Python, R, or similar, desirable, but not required.
